About Me
- Ronda Capaldi (Vince's Mom)
- My name is Ronda Capaldi. My husband Jim and I have 4 children and 1 grandchild. Our oldest son Vince, was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer) in September 2008, and as of January 8, 2010 was completely finished with all his treatments. He has had 13 chemo treatments, 25 radiation treatments and limb sparing surgery on his right arm. His cancer was in his humerus bone which took over 2/3rds of the bone. He is cancer free! We are praying that he will be cancer free forever! God bless!

"Thanks for the detailed update (I am a detail person). I'm sure it's a great release for you to be able to write it all out! I also believe that there are no coincidences. I love that your daughter was comforted by the message on the truck that she saw. God is obviously with you and your family during this really difficult time. I'm so sorry that Vince was in so much pain yesterday, but happy to hear that today is a better day for him. Enjoy your family day together today and get some rest. It sounds like tomorrow is going to be a big day. We will be praying with all our heart for Vince and your family"
"Completely floored today to hear about what's happening with Vince. Jim & Ronda, our family is praying for good news and for a quick recovery. We just went through something similar with one of our sons best friends (he was only in 1st grade!) He is finished with his treatment and he's doing great now! I know how close Michael & Vince are...I'm sure this must be pretty scary for Michael & your daughter to watch their big brother go through. Stay strong for each other.
