As some of you know, our son Vince has been having problems with his arm. They found a mass on his bicep and we did hear from the dr. last night about the MRI results. Unfortunately it's not good news, I wish it was. He has bone cancer (90% chance) in his arm. We are going to a bone specialist (oncologist) next week and they will most likely be doing a bone biopsy as the first step. We are going through a range of emotions and are trying to process the news, as I am sure you are as you read this email. My husband had kidney cancer 8 1/2 yrs. ago, so we feel like we have the best doctors possible to help cure our son. Vince will be 21 yrs. old on Wed. Sept. 10th. This birthday will mean more than ever to all of us as we celebrate this milestone in his life. We are trusting that Jesus will hold us close as we go through this trial. Please feel free to email me with any questions or bits of wisdom, as well as ask others to pray for us. The Lord is in charge and more than ever we realize how precious life is. I'm so glad that I am able to have you in my life for support and prayers. I will be updating with a blog as soon as I find out any other information, but for now, we, as a family, want to enjoy our weekend as we prepare for next week. God bless each of you and again, thank you for your prayers, they are much appreciated!
Psalm 55:17
Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And
He shall hear my voice.
