I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." |
— 2 Corinthians 1:4 |
"Just letting u know i'm praying for u guys today and Vince's surgery""Lots of love and prayers to you all."
I lift up my eyes to the hills"Vince strikes me as a fighter, and with the support of his great family and friends I feel confident that he will defeat this."
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip
he who watches over you will not slumber:
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you my day,
nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 121

Hello,
Somehow I started getting emails telling of Vince's journey. I do not know the Capaldi family nor any friends of the family; but since I am receiving the updates I am figuring one more person praying for the strength needed at this time will not hurt.
Ronda,have heard of Carepages.com? You might be able to get Chemo tips and maybe even in contact with others who also have Ewing's Sarcomas.
Hoping for a brighter tomorrow for all of you.

Hi Vince, The only thing I do know about chemo is you need to eat, even when you feel like you can't. The most fattening things are best. Lot's and lots of shakes, cookies, etc. The more weight you can hold onto, or gain early on, the better you'll fair with chemo. Many people give up eating all together while in treatment. Not eating makes sense when your body is reacting to the poisons, in the chemo, but every time you feel like you might be able to eat, you should. Those extra calories just might be the boost you need, to make it over the hump. Love, ~~Elsie~~
